The membership committee is involved with developing and implementing the founding membership campaign which includes outreach, events, and providing guidance and education for other committee members and co-op member-owners about their roles in recruiting new member-owners. The role of the committee will continue to evolve over time from a formal member-owner campaign committee to membership relations and retention once the Cedar Falls Food Co-op Opens it’s doors. It should be noted that all co-op member-owners and all co-op committee members are responsible for assisting in recruiting and retaining new members. The membership committee is the guiding force behind this outreach and education.
